A: During my visit, I discovered a sharp issue:
Do wooden bracelets contradict environmental protection?
Wooden products generally hold considerable cultural significance in Asia and are often related to local culture and heritage.
Although wearing wooden bracelets has many positive attributes, is the process from sourcing the raw materials to making them a form of harm?
Here are some conclusions on my thinking of this :
Overall, I don't want my product to have a negative impact on the environment, especially since I advocate for a lifestyle that connects with nature!
So I need some judgment to ensure that it is overall positive for the environment!
1. Management of Sustainable Forests
A lot of bracelets made of natural wood come from forests that are maintained sustainably. During logging, these woods adhere to ecological balancing principles, guaranteeing tree regeneration and biodiversity preservation. Similar to the creation of nature reserves, this strategy promotes ecological protection and lessens adverse environmental effects. It's crucial to remember that unapproved overexploitation is prohibited!
2. Problems with Overexploitation
Due to increased demand, several valuable woods, such agarwood and rosewood, are being overused. The ecological ecosystem may be destroyed as a result, and the sustainability of forests may suffer. As a result, choosing wood from sustainable and legal sources is essential. We also spent a lot of time looking for trustworthy vendors!
3.Minimal Production Energy Use
Natural wooden bracelets typically need less energy to produce than those made of metal or plastic. Furthermore, wood has a little influence on the environment because it is a natural material free of dangerous chemicals.
- Usage and Disposal
1. Biodegradability in nature
Bracelets made of natural wood break down organically without polluting the environment over time. In stark contrast, many synthetic materials have the potential to produce toxic chemicals during their breakdown. My values are in line with embracing coexistence and going back to nature.
2. Upkeep and Attention
Wooden bracelets can last longer with proper care, which can save resources. The environmental impact can be further reduced by cleaning and maintaining them using natural products rather than chemical cleaners. Later, I'll write an essay regarding maintenance as well.
Let’s not abandon nature; instead, let’s work together for coexistence.
